Today's headlines paint a picture of escalating global instability: trade wars fragmenting North America, great powers maneuvering in secret diplomatic channels, surveillance and crime spreading, natural disasters ravaging communities, and systemic failures in public health and justice. Rather than depicting any single event, I've chosen the metaphor of shattering—simultaneous ruptures across geopolitics, economics, institutions, and ecosystems. The mirror reflects how each crisis distorts and multiplies others, creating a cascade of fractures.
